HOME	"If dogs don't go to heaven, I want to go where they go." "I'm Maggie and I just 'ove Henry." In Loving Memory of Maggie It is was with a broken heart that not long ago I announced the passing of Maggie, the little lady in the above photo. Maggie carried herself with a kind of dignity seldom seen among we humans. With 12 years of experience, she strolled with self assurance and queenly poise among the younger, rowdy and much larger canines she lived with. And like the true Diva she was, she refused to become involved in their childish antics, but yet, was unruffled by them. And they respected her for it--even the cats. With humans, she had a sweet way of getting her own way, while at the same time, maintaining her pride, her self-respect, her dignity, while offering her unconditional love--to the very end. To me, Maggie was not just a dog or a pet; she was a good friend. I miss her deeply. Meet Maggie's Successor I'm Charlie. Sure, I know I will never be able to replace that awesome lady Maggie, but I'm one hell of a lot of fun and I think she would approve of me 'cause I keep her people happy. Life sure is a trip--ain't it! I mean like, one day you're mopin' around a rescue shelter, and the next day you're ridin' a Harley and havin' lunch at a restaurant in Belmont Shores. Hot dam! As for Henry? Well, I like Henry ok and we have a lot fun, 'cept he don't own a Harley like my new moms. Peanut and Willie: I'm Peanut, the gal on the left, and that's my roommate Willie. We live with our mom, Jessica, in downtown Long Beach. We like Henry because we always hang out around Wall Marts where we get to meet lots of people and do some begging--of which Henry disapproves. He also disapproves when people refer to us as "Lassie Dogs' or Collies. We are Shetland Sheepdogs, thank you very much--most lovingly referred to as "Shelties." Note: We're littlier than Collies and a lot cuter. too.. I tailor my training method to suit the individual dog. The first thing I do is get to know the dog, his or her emotional needs and how that dog views the world in which he lives. Make no mistake, every dog has an opinion of the world in which he finds himself. So very often modifying and reshaping this view of the world is an important part of his training. That is one reason why I particularly enjoy training dogs owned by my dog-walking clients. I have time to really get to know the dog and the training needs of that dog and the methods that will work best for him or her. For that reason, I offer my dog walking clients a special rate. Your dog always has my personal attention because I do not sub-contract my services. No stranger will show up to care for your pets. Nor do I do "pack walks" unless they are all you dogs.
